Ibiza's club season runs from late May to early October. In that window, the island hosts the most concentrated collection of world-class electronic music venues on earth. But the economics are punishing — entry fees, drinks, table minimums, and taxis add up fast. This guide tells you what each major venue costs, what to expect inside, and how to work the system.

2026 Season Overview

Most Ibiza clubs open the last week of May and close by mid-October. Peak season is July and August, when all residencies run simultaneously and tickets are hardest (and most expensive) to get. For better value and a more enjoyable experience, target June or early September.

The Main Clubs: What You're Paying

Club Capacity Door Entry (2025 benchmarks) Genre Location
Pacha 3,000 €50–€100 House, commercial, retro disco Ibiza Town
Amnesia 5,000 €40–€80 Techno, trance, house San Rafael (centre island)
Hï Ibiza 6,000 €50–€90 Techno, deep house Playa d'en Bossa
Ushuaïa 5,000 €50–€120 Open-air EDM spectacle Playa d'en Bossa
DC-10 1,500 €30–€60 Techno, underground house Near airport
Privilege 10,000 €30–€60 Varies by event San Rafael

Pacha: The Icon

Pacha is Ibiza's oldest and most recognisable club — the twin cherry logo is internationally famous. The main room hosts commercial house and disco sets; the Funky Room downstairs runs classic house and vintage electronic music from the island's golden era.

Pacha attracts a mixed crowd: long-standing ravers, VIP table bookers, and mainstream tourists alongside serious clubbers. The atmosphere is celebratory rather than underground.

Pacha Hack

The Pacha App frequently offers early-bird tickets 20–30% cheaper than door price. Download it and set alerts for your target nights. The Flower Power retro disco Fridays are a Pacha institution — fancy dress encouraged, great atmosphere, and often the cheapest entry of the week.

Amnesia: For Serious Electronic Music

Amnesia is split between the main room and the Terrace — the outdoor covered space that is one of the best dance floors in Europe. Cocoon (Sven Väth's legendary residency) takes place here; so does Music On (Marco Carola's marathon techno nights).

Amnesia is not a party venue in the mainstream sense — it's serious music for people who have come specifically for it. Expect 6–8 hour sets and a crowd that knows exactly why it's there.

Hï Ibiza: The Club of the 2020s

Hï Ibiza opened in 2017 on the footprint of the legendary Space and has since become the island's most acclaimed venue for production quality and sound. Two rooms operate simultaneously most nights: the Theatre room (Afterlife events, Eric Prydz residencies) and the Club room.

Hï operates a genuine door policy on its biggest nights. For peak August weekends, getting on a promoter's guest list in advance is worth the effort.

Door Policy Warning

Ibiza clubs enforce dress codes on peak nights. Sportswear and trainers are rejected at Pacha, Hï, and Ushuaïa on busy nights. Dress smart-casual minimum. DC-10 is relaxed about clothes but expects you to look like you're there for the music — not a stag party.

DC-10: Underground Ibiza

DC-10 is the underground heart of Ibiza. Monday's Circoloco has run for over 20 years and remains one of the world's most respected weekly club events. The venue is small, hot, and refreshingly unpretentious — an aircraft hangar with a legendary terrace bar.

Entry is typically €30–€60 — cheaper than the other clubs. The crowd is international and serious. This is where you go for the music, not the spectacle.

Circoloco at DC-10 (Monday)

The most famous weekly night in Ibiza. Starts around 10am after Monday's day parties and runs to late evening — effectively a 12-hour music experience. Book tickets directly via the Circoloco website. They sell out weeks in advance for peak season Mondays.

Ushuaïa: The Spectacle

Ushuaïa is the daytime and early-evening outdoor club — shows typically run 4pm to midnight. It is a production spectacle: pyrotechnics, confetti cannons, and major lineups (David Guetta's residency has run here for over a decade). The experience is more concert than club.

Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza share the same beachfront hotel complex. Many attendees move between the two on the same day/night.

2026 Residencies — What to Expect

Residency announcements for the 2026 season are typically confirmed between February and April. Based on recent years, expect:

  • Pacha — Solomun (Sundays), Glitterbox (Saturdays), Flower Power (Fridays)
  • Amnesia — Cocoon with Sven Väth (Mondays), Music On with Marco Carola
  • Hï Ibiza — Afterlife (Tale of Us, Wednesdays), Eric Prydz
  • DC-10 — Circoloco (Mondays)
  • Ushuaïa — David Guetta (Fridays/Saturdays)

Confirm the confirmed 2026 lineup on each club's official website — residencies change annually and late announcements are common.

How to Spend Less on Ibiza Nights

  • Buy tickets online in advance — door prices are always higher. Use the club's official website, Resident Advisor, or Ticketmaster Spain.
  • Use promoter guest lists — promoters distribute discounted guest list passes at airports, hotels, and along the main strip. Confirm the list is real and what the discount is before committing to a venue you wouldn't otherwise choose.
  • Don't do bottle service as a pair — a bottle of Grey Goose at Pacha costs €350–€500. For two people, that's an insane premium. For a group of 6–8 sharing a table and a guaranteed spot, the maths can work.
  • Use the Disco Bus — the island's night bus service runs between all major clubs and resort areas (Playa d'en Bossa, San Antonio, Ibiza Town) for €4–€6 per trip, all night. Taking it instead of taxis saves €15–€30 per journey.
Ticket Scam Warning

Fake Ibiza club tickets are sold on the street — particularly in San Antonio and along the Playa d'en Bossa strip. Never buy physical tickets from strangers. QR code tickets offered via WhatsApp from "promoters" are usually fraudulent. Only purchase from official club websites, Ticketmaster, or Resident Advisor.

Getting Between Clubs: Transport Options

Route Disco Bus Taxi Journey Time
Ibiza Town ↔ Playa d'en Bossa €4 €15–€20 ~10 min
Ibiza Town ↔ San Antonio €4 €25–€35 ~20 min
Playa d'en Bossa ↔ DC-10 Not direct €12–€18 ~7 min
San Antonio ↔ Amnesia (San Rafael) €4 €15–€22 ~10 min
Transport Tip

Download the Ibiza Disco Bus route map before you go — the service is more comprehensive than most visitors realise and runs through the night on key routes. Ibiza taxis also practise an informal share culture late at night — if you're queuing at a club exit and there's another couple heading the same direction, ask the driver to bundle you together.

FAQs

When is the best time to go to Ibiza for clubbing?

June and early September offer the best combination: full residencies running, smaller crowds, lower prices (typically 20–30% below July–August peak), and better weather for outdoor clubs like Ushuaïa.

Do you need to book club tickets in advance?

For peak season (July–August), yes — especially for Circoloco, Solomun at Pacha, and Afterlife at Hï. In June and September, last-minute tickets are usually available but you'll pay less online regardless of the date.

What's the dress code at Ibiza clubs?

Smart-casual minimum at Pacha, Hï, and Ushuaïa. No sportswear, no flip-flops, no vests. DC-10 is more relaxed about appearance but expects you to match the serious crowd. Arrive looking intentional and you'll have no issues.

Is it safe to take taxis in Ibiza late at night?

Licensed Ibiza taxis are safe and metered, but queues at club exits can be very long. Pre-booking via the Ibiza Taxis app or using the Disco Bus is more reliable than street-hailing after midnight on peak nights.
